Thank you for choosing Magically Sewn! I take pride in ensuring each design is not only beautiful, but quality made.
1. To order a custom design, please contact me either through the contact page or direct email at justine@magicallysewn.com with a short description of your design. Please make sure to leave your telephone number. Reference photos are helpful.
2. I will contact you shortly for a telephone consultation, and we will discuss your design, material, timeframe, and price.
3. Following our consultation, I will provide you with a written quote via email. The quote will include a sketch drawing of your design, cost estimates, and timeframe, along with the amount of my commissioner's deposit (material plus 25% of labor). I will also include a written contract that will outline what you expect from me and what I expect from you. Please note that I cannot begin production until you have met the minimum commissioner's deposit.
4. You will email me your measurements. Providing correct measurements is critical. Please see our Taking Measurements page for assistance. Don't be overwhelmed by this, I will go over exactly what measurements I need during our consultation.
5. Once I receive the commissioner's deposit, your acknowledgment of acceptance of the contract, and your measurements, I will begin your design build. Once the costume is complete, I will email you front, side, and back photos for your final approval. Any adjustments will be made at that time. Once final approval is made, payment for the remainder of the costume will be due.
6. Upon receipt of final payment, I will ship your costume. Payment may be made through either Paypal or Etsy.
Please understand that this is a collaborative effort, and I encourage you to contact me with any questions you may have. I welcome input throughout the process. It is imperative that we are able to communicate throughout the build process in order to ensure you are excited about your completed design. My goal is to build you a costume you love, and assist you all the way through the order and build process.
